The Oil Skimmer Model 2H is designed to remove floating oil from narrow basins width 400-1000 mm. The length of the basin may be up to 10 m. The oil will be removed not only from one spot but the whole surface. The collector tube cause a turbulence on the surface. The turbulence drives the oil towards the oil collector tube. The oil sticks to the outside oft the oil collector tube and is drawn with the oil collector tube into the Oil Skimmer. Scrapers remove the oil from the oil collector tube. The oil floats from the scraper into the oil collector pan and from there into the waste oil tank.

The Oil Skimmer 2H may be mounted up to 600 mm above water level. Because of the strong construction you can operate the Oil Skimmer 2H 24 h a day, seven days a week.

Scrapers and drive wheel are protected with hig-tech materials against wear. The oil is loaden with metal chips, sand and other hard particles which will cause wear. Because of the hard ceramic inside the Oil Skimmer you will have less wear and the Oil Skimmer needs only few maintenance. All other parts of the Oil Skimmer are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. Depending on the thickness of the oil layer and the viscosity of the oil the capacity of the Model 2H Oil Skimmer reaches up to 230 l of oil per hour.
