The Oil Skimmer Model 1U is designed to remove floating oil from small coolant tanks or small cleaning tanks. Because of the innovative working principle oil will be picked up from the whole surface of the tank.
The collector tube cause a turbulence on the surface. The turbulence drives the oil towards the oil collector tube. The oil sticks to the outside oft the oil collector tube and is drawn with the oil collector tube into the Oil Skimmer. Scrapers remove the oil from the oil collector tube. The oil floats from the scraper into the oil collector pan and from there into the waste oil tank.

The Oil Skimmer Model 1U fits to different sizes and types of tanks, because the length of the collector tube will be adapted to your tank.

By changing the inclination of the Oil Skimmer the oil skimmer may be adapted to any application. The unit is designed for 24 h operation in industrial applications.

Scrapers and drive wheel are protected with hig-tech materials against wear. The oil is loaden with metal chips, sand and other hard particles which will cause wear. Because of the hard ceramic inside the Oil Skimmer you will have less wear and the Oil Skimmer needs only few maintenance. All other parts of the Oil Skimmer are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. Depending on the thickness of the oil layer and the viscosity of the oil the capacity of the Model 1U Oil Skimmer reaches up to 30 l of oil per hour. Many available options are possible so that this Oil Skimmer will fit exactly to your application.

The unit comes with switch, cable with plug and is ready to run.
